Dear Fans of the Minnesota Vikings,
When I woke up this morning, I felt like I was living a dream (more like a nightmare). I am sure you all did too. Did that really just happen? Our team was ahead the entire first, second and third quarters of the game. Our defense played phenomenally. It was freezing outside, below zero temperatures, and we were beating an excellent, championship team.
We were THIS CLOSE to winning yesterday’s game versus the Seattle Seahawks, and somehow, we just didn’t pull through.
Once the realization of the missed field goal, dwindling play clock and 10-9 score set in, I felt a wide range of emotions: anger, sadness, defeat, disbelief and shock. Complete devastation.
I cannot (nor should you) blame one specific person on the team for yesterday’s loss. It was a team effort and we just didn’t do it.
Despite yesterday’s unfortunate loss, I am still extremely proud of our team. We had an incredible season. We had a winning record and showed tremendous improvement. The coaching staff and players should be commended for all of their hard work and effort this year. GREAT JOB, GUYS!
We are the NFC North champions. We will be back next year and we are ready to win.
Love from a Big Fan,
